2010 EXHIBITOR MOVE-IN INFORMATION
HOW TO FIND THE SHOW
Coming from the West, take the first Quartzsite exit (Exit 17) and turn right. Go down and make a left on the frontage road at Love‘s truck stop. Follow this frontage road until you come to the traffic light at Hwy 95. Turn right and go about 250 yards and look for our big yellow sign at the entrance. From the East, take the first Quartzsite exit (Exit 19) and make a left. Go back over freeway and continue to the first stop. Make a right. This is Kuehn Road. Take Kuehn 1 mile to the signal at Hwy 95. Make a left and go about 250 yards and look for our big yellow sign at the entrance. Make a right into the parking lot. There will be signs or someone there that will direct you to the check-in area.
Please do not cut across our parking lot as we will have just lined it.
DELIVERY AND SET UP OF EXHIBITS
Exhibits may be delivered and/or set up on the following dates and times;
RV SHOW Wednesday, January 13th 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
RV SHOW Thursday, January 14th 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
RV SHOW Friday, January 15th 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
CRAFT SHOW Mon & Tues, Jan. 25th & 26th 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Installation must be complete and all exhibits must be in place by 8:00AM, of opening day.
THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WILL BE INCLUDED AS PART OF THE BASIC BOOTH RENTAL FEE
A) A standard draped booth consisting of an eight (8) foot back wall and two (2) thirty six (36") inch high side rails.
B) One 1000 watt electrical service.
C) Each booth is carpeted with synthetic turf, as is the entire tent.
NOTE: USE SURGE PROTECTION EQUIPMENT ON ALL TV’S, CREDIT CARD MACHINES, COMPUTERS OR ANY OTHER ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT. QZ SHOWS NOT RESPONSIBLE IF DAMAGED.
EXHIBITOR SHIPPING INFORMATION
When shipping in supplies and/or your exhibit, please make sure your labels and bill of lading have the name of your company,
AS ON THE CONTRACT WITH BOOTH#, C/O The Quartzsite RV Show, 700 S. Central, Quartzsite, Arizona 85346. PREPAY ALL CHARGES. (Please do not ship to Kenny King. Make sure your booth# and name as contracted is on every package. Thanks K.K.) Please schedule your shipments to arrive no sooner than January 5th. Unless someone from your company is there to receive your shipment, all shipments are received as-is. We will sign for your shipment but will not be responsible for any shortages. We will store your shipment until you arrive. NOTE: There is no regular or PRIORITY MAIL service in Quartzsite. All incoming parcels must be delivered by UPS, FED/EX, Common Carrier, etc. All mail is automatically returned to sender unless you have a P.O. Box in Quartzsite.
SHOW DAYS AND HOURS
RV SHOW - January 16tht through January 24th
CRAFT SHOW - January 27st through January 31st
9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily.
PLEASE NOTE: ARIZONA TIME IS ONE (1) HOUR AHEAD OF CALIFORNIA TIME!
RV CAMPSITE INFORMATION
LOCATION: Campsites will be situated on or adjacent to the show grounds.
ARRIVAL: You may move on your campsite on:
RV SHOW - Wednesday, January 14th.thru Friday January 16th
CRAFT SHOW - Monday January 26th or Tuesday January 27th.
(Note: Exhibitors camping with us for both shows may stay on campsite between shows)
ELECTRICAL All campsites are supplied with a basic electric hook-up (30 AMPS) during the show. PLEASE NOTE: No use of electric heaters or air conditioners unless you have contracted for additional power with electrical contractor!
WATER
You may not be hooked up to a permanent water supply. Our employees will fill your tank upon request. There will be water outlets around the perimeter of the show grounds that you may use if you run low before we are able to top you off. PLEASE DO NOT CONNECT TO THESE OUTLETS AS THEY ARE ALSO USED BY OUR GROUNDS CREWS. Water is a precious commodity in the desert! PLEASE SHOW UP FULL!
DUMPING OF HOLDING TANKS
A honey wagon will come by to dump your holding tanks. We will advise you of the schedule at check-in. IMPORTANT! PLEASE NOTE! SHOW UP WITH YOUR TANKS EMPTY! Sewage service will not begin until opening day of both shows.
PROPANE SERVICE
Mobile propane service is unavailable during the show due to insurance restrictions. Unless you will be able to pull out during the show to re-fill, expect to make it on the propane in your RV upon arrival.
PETS
Well behaved pets are welcome. Please make sure that you clean up after your pet immediately during the show.
T.D.S. TELECOM, the telephone company that services Quartzsite, Arizona, has advised us that they are only able to install telephone service to the main panel on our show grounds. All additional hook-up labor will then be left to the show as far as supplying and physically running of the individual lines to your location. Following are labor rates for this service as well as phone (instrument) rental rates.
INSTALLATION LABOR (run phone line to booth) $65.00 PER LINE
TOUCH TONE INSTRUMENT RENTAL $20.00 EACH
All exhibitors must contact T.D.S. TELECOM directly at (800) 927-0131 and arrange for the initial hookup to our main phone panel and establish direct billing for that service and all other related T.D.S. charges. Do not use your booth number or the show location as the billing address. Please note. You must call us with the telephone number that T.D.S. assigns you. Your phone will not be ready when you arrive without this information. (see labor rate above)
Please note.
Establish your service early.You are paying for a month of service so tell T.D.S. that you want your service established on January 10th and terminated on Feb.10th.INTERNET INFORMATION: Contact Kenny King. We are working on WiFi service.

The Town of Quartzsite requires a $50.00 vendor permit for all exhibitors, regardless of whether you are selling retail of simply displaying. The State of Arizona requires a $14.00 resale permit. The sales tax in Quartzsite in 2009 was 9.1% last year You will find information and forms regarding licensing, resale permits, Health Dept. requirements, etc at this web site. www.ci.quartzsite.az.us/ Go to the "SHOWS" page and then to the "VENDING" page. The fee for these permits are not included in your exhibit space fee.
If you prefer, you can wait until you arrive in Quartzsite and then go over to the Town Hall and take care of these necessary licensing requirements however I recommend that you take care of it beforehand.
